Jan 9 - Sprint Planning interactive session, presented by Michael McCullough

Hi CAMUG members,

Note: This session is not at our usual location. Details below.

Are you looking to tighten your sprint planning sessions or just learn a few new great tricks? On Thursday Jan 9, Michael McCullough will guide members through a hands-on session for some interactive learning around Sprint Planning.

Abstract
Sprint Planning
In this fun and interactive session, participants will practice Sprint Planning - defining a Forecast, Sprint Goal and how the work to meet that goal will be done. Sprint planning is one of the events in the Scrum Framework and some teams struggle with understanding the difference between a Sprint Goal and Forecast. Additionally many teams are unsure of techniques for organizing and approaching the work in the Spring Backlog. This session will include an overview of how the Sprint Planning meeting is run and participants will then practice Sprint Planning.
